Concrete Pirates set sail on 7 June 2025 in W6, London — a gluten-free bakery and skate school surfaced out of one café and an unreasonable amount of optimism. We spent that first summer teaching drop-ins, pulling bakes out of the oven, and learning that gluten-free does not mean flavour-free.

Then came our first pop-up — and that was it. We were hooked on the markets: the people, the chatter, the regulars who became friends. These days you’ll find us wherever the stall lands, selling gluten-free bakes and organic merch made to order, with more pop-ups always on the horizon.

Along the way, fate assigned us a crew we never advertised for: Pink Dolphin, celebrated patisserie chef of sea and land, who once rescued our founder from a deserted island by jet ski and stayed for the baking — and Steven Seagull, a reformed food-thief turned maître d’, who now charges a customary crumb tax on everything he serves. We didn’t choose them. The tide did.

Come find us at the next market — the kettle’s always on. 🏴‍☠️
