Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

Sadly not the gluten-free kind. Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to remember things between visits. Here’s exactly how we use them — and the honest headline is: barely at all.

What we use

We use only essential cookies — the ones the shop genuinely can’t work without:

Basket and checkout cookies (WooCommerce) — these remember what’s in your basket as you browse, and keep your checkout session working. Without them, your basket would empty itself every time you changed page.

Login cookies — if you have an account, these keep you securely logged in to your Logbook.

Payment security cookies (Square) — when you pay, Square may set cookies that help prevent fraud and keep the payment process secure.

These cookies don’t track you around the internet, don’t build a profile of you, and aren’t used for advertising.

What we don’t use

❌ No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no visitor tracking)
❌ No advertising or marketing cookies
❌ No social media tracking pixels
❌ No third-party cookies beyond those needed for secure payment

Because we only use essential cookies, UK law doesn’t require us to show you one of those cookie consent pop-ups — which is why our site doesn’t nag you with one.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time — every browser has this option (usually under Privacy or Site Settings).

One honest warning: because our cookies are all essential, blocking them will stop parts of the shop working — your basket won’t hold items and checkout won’t complete.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add new cookies — for example, if we introduce analytics in future — we’ll update this page, and add a consent banner if the law requires one.
